Reports to: Tasting Room Manager
Department: Tasting Room

Position Summary: Greets customers; takes drink orders; educates customers on beer; gives tours; sets up and breaks down space; maintains cleanliness and organization of space; assists in events; communicates effectively and positively with team members

Position Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests enthusiastically upon their arrival and departure
  • Possess knowledge of beers being served to answer questions and provide helpful suggestions
  • Convey specials & promotions to guests
  • Take beer and N/A drink orders from guests
  • Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol and practice responsible alcohol service
  • Collect payments and operate cash registers for drinks and/or food served following company established cash handling policies and procedures for all transactions
  • Possess knowledge of brewing process and Foothills history and give tours of the brewery
  • Interact with guests to build loyalty and deliver awesome customer service
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the tasting room
  • Ensure the tasting room is well stocked in the cooler spaces, merchandise area, and bathrooms
  • Execute the accurate and efficient completion of opening and closing procedures
  • Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Other duties as required, i.e. assisting with events
  • Communicate effectively and positively with team members and ask for help when needed to achieve our desired results

  • Must be able to see and hear clearly
  • Must be able to see less than 20” away and a distance of more than 20 feet
  • Must have use of side vision
  • Must be able to read and distinguish small print.
