Dishwasher – Winston-Salem, NC

Position Summary:   Provide pub with a clean, safe kitchen area. Responsible for washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. Keeps dish room and equipment clean and organized.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Load, run and unload dish machine
  • Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemical levels to ensure sanitary wash cycle; keep dish machine clean, report any functional or mechanical problems to kitchen manager
  • Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware, handling carefully to prevent breakage and loss
  • Keep dish room clean and organized
  • Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen, as well as dish detergents and cleaning supplies
  • Bag and haul kitchen trash to dumpster
  • Clean food preparation and production areas as required
  • Assists in closing kitchen properly and follows closing checklist for kitchen stations
  • Other duties as required
