Food truck - Baconessence

The Baconessence journey began with gourmet sandwich shops and pizzerias, leading to several years as a chef in the fine dining industry. The first of those years were with Noble’s restaurants in the Greensboro and High Point areas, and then with his own fine dining concept Saffron’s in Burlington N.C. This acclaimed chef received very high praise from many including writers from various publications and food critics alike.
Here are a few of the Baconessence selections.
- Pimiento Melt | Homemade extra sharp Pimiento cheese on grilled flatbread with a slice of extra thick cut Nueske’s Applewood smoked bacon, baconized onions and a sweet Jalapeño red pepper jelly.
- The Elvis | Grilled crunchy peanut butter & sweet Jalapeño red pepper jelly with two slices of extra thick cut Nueske’s Applewood smoked bacon on a sub roll.
- Bacon Melt | Grilled cheese consisting of Sharp Cheddar and Swiss with two slices of extra thick cut Nueske’s Applewood smoked bacon on grilled flatbread.
