Heather Foster Live at Foothills Tasting Room
Heather Foster’s music is heavily influenced by homegrown folk music as well as the classics such as Doc Watson and Johnny Cash. These influences helped shape the direction of the new album, and helped form the basis for her acoustic folk sound.

Listen to her music.

Heather Foster graduated from Catawba College in with a double major in Music Business and Popular Music. In her four years there, she spent her time songwriting and performing at venues across North Carolina.  In 2012, she met bassist Shaun Cammack, a fellow music student, and began to play as a duo regularly. This was the beginning of a friendship that formed the core of the sound heard on her newest album, “Where She Grows, She Remains.” Foster and Cammack are both heavily influenced by homegrown folk music as well as the classics such as Doc Watson and Johnny Cash. These influences helped shape the direction of the new album, and helped form the basis for the duo’s acoustic folk sound.
