Marketing Coordinator – Winston-Salem, NC

Reports to: Marketing Director
Department: Marketing

Position Summary: Build the Foothills Brewing brand presence through all applicable social media and email channels. Responsible for all social media and email marketing programs and monitoring results using data analytics and reporting tools. Responsible for keeping company website up to date with promotions, calendars, menus, etc.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage established social media channels to drive marketing and sales objectives using the Foothills ‘voice’
  • Monitor and report regularly on brand and company reputation
  • Design and implement social media strategies, campaigns, and plans to build brand/company awareness
  • Establish and manage monthly content calendars for craft beer brand as well as brick-and-mortar locations on company website
  • Write and publish regular engaging content, compelling social campaigns, posts, and other content across all platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, You Tube, company blog, email newsletter, and company website
  • Grow social following across key target segments and social media influencers
  • Review success of campaigns and develop ways to improve messaging
  • Proactively communicate with Foothills’ audience, responding to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Monitor and respond to customers on review sites such as Google, Yelp and Trip Advisor
  • Track and respond to complaints, inquiries, concerns, and funnel to appropriate team members as needed
  • Work with team to develop programs/incentives to build brand interest and loyalty
  • Attend featured events and post photos/videos
  • Additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2-4 years of social media management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field is required
  • Knowledge and documented prior use of social media marketing programs and platforms for established businesses (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Experience outlining and creating campaigns for target audiences
  • Experience with/knowledge of Adobe Suite preferred
  • Experience with WordPress CMS helpful

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to operate effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects under tight constraints and still meet deadlines
  • Willingness to work odd hours, weekends and evenings
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Valid drivers’ license, reliable car
