Stop in to view Christine Rucker‘s breathtaking new exhibit, “Dance for the River.” This compilation of exciting photographs serves to inspire action concerning the Yadkin Riverkeeper.


Yadkin Riverkeeper seeks to respect, protect and improve the Yadkin Pee Dee River Basin through education, advocacy and action. We are a 501c(3) non-profit organization, funded by individuals and foundations who share our commitment to promoting a clean and healthy river that sustains life and is cherished by its people.

Yadkin Riverkeeper works to:

Sustain a RIVERKEEPER© program
Measurably improve water quality
Bring legal action, if necessary, to enforce state and federal environmental laws
Teach and practice a “river ethic” of ecological respect to all ages
Yadkin Riverkeeper is a licensed member of the Waterkeeper Alliance, which connects and supports local Waterkeeper programs to provide a united voice and to champion clean water issues around the world. Waterkeeper Alliance seeks to protect fishable, swimmable and drinkable waterways worldwide.
